The 2009 Fordham University TKD trip to the Catskill mountains of NY will be on Martin Luther King Jr. weekend in January - Friday, January 16th through Sunday, January 18th. This trip is also open to practicing students in college. In previous years, this annual retreat has been attended by students from other schools like Brockport, Vassar, NYU, Columbia, Fredonia, Pace, Penn State, Brooklyn College, and many more!

The trip is a wonderful opportunity for students from different universities to network and practice Tae Kwon Do together in the relaxing atmosphere of the campus in Gilboa NY. The tae kwon do students who will be attending the camp will be trained personally by the Headmaster of the World Martial Arts Association - Dr. Michael T. Dealy, 9th Dan. He was the original president of the Fordham Tae Kwon Do Club in the 1960's and has been practicing the style of Chung Do Kwon for over 40 years.
